Dr Sharma is a highly trained cardiologist with specialised expertise in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has joined PSRI Hospital as a consultant in cardiology, bringing his extensive expertise in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
He was certified by the American College of Cardiology in 2023.
His expertise in interventional cardiology was recognised by the Cardiology Society of India, and he was given the Shining Star Award for Excellence in Cath in 2023.
He was also awarded a scholarship by a member of the Academy of Cardiology in 2024. He has given multiple presentations at conferences and has authored a book chapter. He has been a panellist on National Television.
Dr Sharma has previously worked in Safdarjung Hospital and Medanta Hospital. He completed a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing.
Dr Sharma is renowned for his ethical and holistic approach to patient care. His areas of expertise include coronary angiography and angioplasty; cardiac devices, including pacemakers, left bundle pacing ICDs, and CRT-Ds; and cardiac electrophysiology, including SVT, VT, AF; and structural heart intervention, including TAVI.
