Dr Rajnish Kumar Duggal

Brief Profile

Dr Rajnish Kumar Duggal is a highly experienced Radiologist with more than three decades of expertise in Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasonography and Interventional Radiology. He has joined PSRI Hospital as Senior Consultant & Head of the Department of Radiology, bringing extensive clinical experience and a longstanding association with the hospital.

Dr Duggal completed his MBBS from Punjab University in 1982 and subsequently pursued his MD in Radiodiagnosis from PGIMER, Chandigarh, in 1987. He received advanced training in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India’s premier medical institutions.

Following his MD, he worked at PGIMER as a Senior Resident for three years and subsequently served as Faculty (Assistant Professor) for one year.

In 1992, Dr Duggal joined Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, where he further developed his expertise in Diagnostic Ultrasound, Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology, and Vascular Interventional Radiology. He was among the early specialists to introduce and develop Interventional Radiology in the private healthcare sector in the NCR region. He remained associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital until 2004.

Dr Duggal has had a long-standing association with PSRI Hospital since 1999, initially joining as a part-time faculty member. He later continued his association with the Department of Radiology through Dr Diwan Chand Aggarwal Clinic and subsequently as a faculty member with Mahajan Imaging until August 2020. During his tenure at PSRI, his work included interventional procedures, diagnostic ultrasonography and X-ray reporting.

With extensive experience spanning diagnostic imaging and image-guided interventions, Dr Duggal combines strong clinical expertise with a deep understanding of radiological diagnosis and minimally invasive procedures.
