Dr. Amit Rastogi is a highly accomplished liver transplant and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgeon with over 25 years of experience in leading academic and healthcare institutions across India. He has been instrumental in the evolution of liver transplant surgery in the country and has experience in over 4,500 liver transplants, working closely with India’s pioneering liver transplant team.

Dr. Rastogi’s clinical expertise spans living donor liver transplantation, small incision donor and recipient surgeries, complex hepatic resections, HPB surgery, and GI oncology surgery. He also has experience in renal transplantation. A founder member and treasurer of the Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI), he has played a pivotal role in shaping the national transplant landscape.
