Dr. Birbala Rai is a highly experienced Senior gynaecologist & Laparascopic Surgeon attached to PSRI Hospital for the last 10 years and have working experience for more than 40 years. She has done basic and advanced Laparascopy and hysteroscopy trainings from Mumbai and Delhi.
Her vast Experience in Health Care of women from teenage to menopause reflects in the fact that she is a doctor who makes you feel comfortable even on your first visit.
She was instrumental in starting the Gynaecology Department at PSRI Hospital and nurtured it to a level where now all Gynaecological and Laparascopic and Hysteroscopic Surgeries are being performed.
Special Interest:
§ Laparoscopic surgery, Hysteroscopic surgery , Ultrasound guided procedures e.g., Ovarian Cyst Aspirations and Medical Terminations of Pregnancies and I.U.I.
§ Pregnancy Care with special interest in High Risk Pregnancy especially those complicated with Gastro, Renal and Liver problems in pregnancy.
§ Menopause and Urogynae problems and Osteoporosis.
