Dr J C Vij, is a renowned senior Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist of the country.
After doing his Post doctoral courses in Gastroenterology (DM) from All India Institute of Medical Science, joined the faculty of GB Pant Hospital and Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi where he became a Professor of Gastroenterology in 1990. After retiring in 1994 from G B Pant Hospital, he was attached to several hospitals – Apollo hospital, Holy Family, and MAX hospital as Senior Consultant.
He has been the Chairman & Senior Advisor in Dr B L Kapur Memorial, Super Specialty Hospital, Pusa Road, New Delhi in the department of BLK-Max Institute for Digestive and Liver Diseases.
He has an experience of 35 years of post graduate teaching in field of Gastroenterology. He was a visiting professor to Dept of Endoscopy in Hamburg University, Germany.
He has published above 60 papers in various International and National journals. His main field of interest in Therapeutic Endoscopy.
