He has more than 38 years of experience. Dr. G S Tucker is a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon, his area of expertise includes Trauma, Complex Trauma, Joint Replacement Surgery, Hip Replacement Surgery and Knee Replacement Surgery.
Dr. G S Tucker has completed his education mainly from New Delhi. He did his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 1980 and MS (Orthopedics) from Central Institute of Orthopedics, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in 1984. Currently, Dr. G S Tucker is practicing as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Kalkaji.
He has also been the member of some prestigious organizations like Indian Orthopedic Association, Indian Arthroplasty Association and Association for Study & Application of Methods of Illizarov (ASAMI).
To add to his achievements, Dr. G S Tucker has been a distinguished Orthopedic Surgeon by IMA, Instructor AO Basic & Advance courses, Incidence of Osteomalacia in fracture of proximal femur Injury Vol.19, No.2, March 1988, Bilateral tuberculosis osteomyelitis of clavicle – A report. Orthopedics (U.S.A.) August-September, 1990 and Open ant fracture dislocation of Hip – A case report and review of literature (Acta Orthopedia).
He is having vast experience in orthopedic surgeries. Dr. G S Tucker was formerly a Senior Consultant and Head at Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi (2013 – 2017), Senior Consultant and Head at Saket City Hospital, Saket (2013 – 2017), Senior Coordinator at Batra Hospital and Research Center (1993 – 2013), Senior Consultant at Sita Ram Bhartia Hospital, Delhi (2000 – 2003), Consultant at Batra Hospital and Research Center (1988 – 1993), Pool Officer (Lecturer) at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi (1987 – 1988) and Senior Resident at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi (1984 – 1987).
He is having special interest in Fractures & Trauma – Complex fractures,malunions & nonunions, Joint Reconstruction & Replacements. He has conducted various workshops and presentations.
