Case Study of Cancer Uterus
Patient by name Mrs. S.A came to our cancer hospital in Delhi with symptoms of post-menopausal bleeding i.e. bleeding occurring after menopause. In a 70-year-old woman, it is a dangerous presentation. On biopsy, we found out that she was a case of Cancer uterus MRI examination revealed that the disease was localized to the uterus. Decision for removal of uterus, both side tubes and ovaries & the lymph nodes into which the cancer cells can spread.
Patient’s recovery after the surgery was excellent and she is on regular follow up. No chemotherapy or Radio Therapy was required as the cancer was confined to the uterus only and was operable.
