She has also actively taken part in many research activities and published articles (40+ publications) in National and International Medical Journals of repute. She has been on the editorial board of the journal Neurology India and has been a reviewer of many international journals. She is a member of the Indian Epilepsy Society.

Dr. Bhargavi has served as an Assistant Professor of neurology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She worked as an associate Professor of Neurology at Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Hapur.
