Coronary care unit of PSRI heart institute is a state of the art cardiac intensive care facility which can cater to the needs of sick and critical cardiac patients, including those on mechanical ventilator and life support systems. The unit comprises of super specialist doctors and specialist nurses trained in cardiac critical care and the infrastructure has facilities ranging from invasive hemodynamic monitoring to handling advanced mechanical circulatory support systems like IABP and ECMO. Our facility is equipped to manage patients of coronary artery disease, complex arrhythmia, advanced heart failure and, other subspecialties of cardiac sciences.

Liver Transplant Unit

The team of liver transplant unit at PSRI Hospital constitutes a devoted team of liver transplant surgeons, Hepatologists, Intensivist & dedicated, focused and highly trained critical care Nurse’s, staff & therapists. LTU is well-equipped and closely supervised with stringent infection control and isolation protocols, having latest state of the art structure with Hepa filter equipped isolation units and equipment like extensive monitoring, and ventilators.

Neuro Intensive Care Unit

Neuro Intensive care unit of PSRI Hospital is a state-of-the-art intensive care facility that can cater to the needs of neurology & Neurosurgery patients. The unit comprises of super specialist doctors and specialist nurses trained in neurocritical care and the infrastructure has facilities ranging from invasive hemodynamic monitoring to bedside Electro Encephalogram (EEG) Monitoring for managing critically ill patients with neurological illnesses. Also provides round-the-clock for diagnosis and early management of Neurological emergencies like Status Epilepticus, Stroke, and Neuromuscular Weakness, Encephalitis, Meningitis, other Neuro infectious diseases, and behaviour changes.

Renal Transplant Unit

The team of kidney transplant unit at PSRI Hospital constitutes a devoted team of nephrologist, urologist, Intensivist & dedicated, focused and highly trained critical care nurse, staff & therapists. RTU is well-equipped and closely supervised with stringent infection control and isolation protocols to reduce the infection risk & having bed side dialysis facility.

Medical ICU

The team of Critical Care unit at PSRI Hospital constitutes a devoted team of anaesthesiology and surgical intensivists, critical care nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists. All our Intensive Care Units, High Dependency Units and Post-Operative Recovery rooms are well-equipped and closely supervised with stringent infection control and isolation protocols.

ICU’s team includes cardiologists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, internal medicine physicians, nurses, and technicians trained in intensive cardiac care to centralize the treatment of patients recovering from critical ailments. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The beds are fully motorised with anti-bed sore technology. It is also equipped with advance technologies like advance haemodynamic, ICP, IAP monitors, advanced ventilators for invasive and non-invasive artificial respiration, crash cart with defibrillators, and round-the-clock bedside ultrasonography (FAST), transthoracic echo, and trans-esophageal echo (TEE).
